President-elect Donald Trump performed the “Trump Dance” on stage at his pre-inauguration rally in Washington, D.C., on Sunday as Village People performed their hit song, “YMCA.”
The viral moment happened at the end of his more than two hour rally that included performances from numerous conservative figures ranging from actor Jon Voight to UFC CEO Dana White to Trump adviser Stephen Miller.

Elon Musk, who is leading Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), also attended the rally and spoke during Trump’s speech.
Musk said that what matters is that the administration “make significant changes, cement those changes, and set the foundation for America to be strong a century, for centuries, forever.”
Trump touched on a wide range of issues ahead of his return to the White House on Monday, including his day one agenda, which he said will feature a flurry of executive orders aimed at everything from securing the border to getting wokeness out of the U.S. military.
The president-elect addressed the devastating wildfires in California at the rally, saying that he would soon travel to the state to survey the damage.
“We’re paying for you all. We love you all. We’re going to be there very soon. I’m going out there on Friday to see it and to get it moving back,” Trump said. “We’re going to get some of the best builders in the world.”
He said that he was committed to restoring trust in the U.S. government after four years of abuse from President Joe Biden. One of the ways that he proposed to do that was to make a massive push to “reverse the over-classification of government documents.”
“And in the coming days, we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.” Trump said.
He added that he was going to gut DEI mandates and would make a decision regarding the January 6 defendants that he said would make his supporters very happy.
