“Scrubs” star Eliza Coupe hit back at critics who expressed concern about her health following her recent red carpet appearance.
“Pictures from my camera roll from the past three weeks,” the 43-year-old actress captioned her post on Instagram, showing an array of pictures of herself. She included hashtags like “thisishwhatireallylooklike,” “truth,” and “haterscanhate,” among others.
The comments came after she hit the premiere of Netflix’s “The Residence” at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California, on March 19.
In pictures that surfaced from the event, Coupe wore a gold shimmering minidress with black thigh-high boots and black fur jacket.
Social media users wrote that the actress looked “unrecognizable” and worried about her health, Page Six noted.

“I was so broken; I couldn’t get fixed enough for the relationship because I had damaged it with my own s***,” Coupe said. “Some may call it an eating disorder, I just call it that’s been my life.”
“So my drug of choice was always food … I did crazy s*** with it,” she added. “And then being on amphetamines, you’re not eating anyway. I would over-exercise, and there was a sprinkle of bulimia in there.”
