Photos captured the chaos that ensued after former President Donald Trump was shot during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The sounds of shots rang out as Trump grabbed around his neck area and he quickly dropped to the ground as he was instantly swarmed by Secret Service agents. After he got up, he raised his fist and signaled to the crowd to “fight” as the Secret Service rushed him off stage.

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said that Trump was “fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility.” He added that Trump “thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act.”

In a post to Truth Social, Trump said he was shot in the ear.
