Vice President Kamala Harris rounded out her presidential campaign with a staged “door knock” at a voter’s home, prompting critics to point out just how much of her entire campaign had been fake.

Harris, who only nabbed the Democratic presidential nomination after the party ousted President Joe Biden and installed her without a vote, has spent the majority of her three-month campaign either not taking questions at all or only taking questions from outlets or individuals who will not challenge her.

Monday’s door-knocking scene was no less scripted:

In the video, Harris could be seen talking with supporters on what was apparently their front porch.

“Well, I want to door knock,” she said.

“Oh, you want to do the door knock?” the man asked, and when Harris nodded, they all went inside so that she could knock on the door and have them answer. While they were inside waiting for Harris to knock, several people with cameras quickly got into place in order to document the entire thing.

“Remember that the press was bitching and complaining for days that Trump at McDonald’s was set up. This is totally okay, though,” one person responded.

“How fitting. Nothing about her campaign was ever real. This is the perfect metaphor for the entire charade,” another added.

“Humiliating? Yes. Representative of her whole campaign? Yes,” Jim Hanson posted.

“Kamala Harris ended her campaign by telling a family to go back inside so she can pretend to door-knock. Please don’t make me endure four years of this. I beg you,” RedState’s Bonchie posted.

“ABC’s Mary Bruce has no problem with Kamala Harris’s staged door knock in Pennsylvania, touting it as genuine campaigning and ‘joining’ her team by being on the ground to help knock on one of ‘five million doors.’ They didn’t say that about Trump’s McDonald’s visit!” Curtis Houck said.
