Rapper Jay-Z has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, per a newly filed civil lawsuit.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred in 2000. The recording artist, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is accused of sexually assaulting the child after she was driven to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party, per the NBC News report.

The lawsuit is one of many filed by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee against Combs. It was originally filed in October, then was re-filed on Sunday to include the additional defendant.

The document states that the alleged victim was dropped off by a friend at the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall. She did not have a ticket to the event and attempted to gain entry to the show and after-parties by approaching limo drivers.

A driver who allegedly worked for Combs at the time spoke with the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, and said she “fit what Diddy was looking for.”

The Jane Doe said she was taken to a house and witnessed partygoers doing drugs such as marijuana and cocaine. She was allegedly given a drink, which she claims made her feel “woozy, lightheaded and [like] she needed to lie down.” Jane Doe went into a room and lay on a bed, she stated, which is when Diddy and Jay-Z allegedly entered the room. Combs is accused of saying, “You are ready to party!”

That’s when she claims Carter held her down and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched, followed by Combs allegedly raping her while the woman stayed and observed.

The plaintiff said she “grabbed her clothes” and left the party. She then called her father from a gas station.

Diddy is currently in prison awaiting his trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking by force. Jay-Z is the first defendant besides Diddy to be named in one of the suits, though it’s believed that more accusations against high-profile stars will be made in the coming months.

Buzbee has not commented publicly on the filing, but the outlet noted that the attorney wrote in the suit, “Carter received a letter from Plaintiff’s counsel requesting a mediation to resolve this matter.” Buzbee also stated that Carter filed a lawsuit against the accuser’s attorneys.

Neither Jay-Z’s attorney nor his rep have issued statements on the allegations.
