Former first lady Melania Trump reacted to Vice President Kamala Harris and her surrogates labeling her husband, former President Donald Trump, and his supporters Nazis and fascists.
During the first lady’s stop on “Fox and Friends” on Tuesday, Melania hit back at the rhetoric from Democrats and the legacy media calling Trump the “second Hitler” and comparing his rally at Madison Square Garden to Adolf Hitler’s in 1939.
“It’s terrible,” the former first lady said. “He’s not Hitler, and all of his supporters they’re standing behind him because they want to see the country successful. And we see what kind of support he has.”
“He loves his country,” she added. “And he wants to make it successful for all of the people. He loves people and he wants to make this country great again.”

Melania said she’s more prepared this time around for life in the White House should Trump win re-election and said she wasn’t “anxious” to be first lady again.
“I’m not anxious,” Melania told the hosts. “Because this time is different. I have much more experience, much more knowledge. I was in the White House before, so when you go in, you know exactly what to expect.”
“You know what kind of people you need to get,” she added. “You need to have people, they are on your team. That they have the same vision as me. And to serve me, because they serve the country.”

When pressed by one of the hosts about comments she made in her memoir “Melania” regarding being stabbed in the back the last time she was in the White House, the former first lady said it was important for people to hear her story, because there was “a lot of misinformation” and “mistruths.”
The former first lady also talked about the support Trump’s been getting and said the energy felt like 2016. However, she admitted, this time around, things are “much more dangerous” following two attempted assassination attempts on her husband.
“I’m very vigilant and very selective were I go, what do I do,” Melania said. “Because you never know. It’s one person. It’s dangerous out there. “
During an interview on Tuesday with WISN-TV, Kamala Harris was asked about her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz labeling Trump and his supporters Nazis and fascist, and she didn’t denounce it.
“I have said what I have to say, which is, he is dangerous and unfit and increasingly unstable, unhinged…” Harris replied.
