“Dr. Who” star David Tennant demanded a British politician “shut up” because of her support of women’s rights over transgender activists and said he wished she didn’t “exist anymore.”

During Tennant’s recent acceptance speech at the British LGBT Awards, the actor called out British equalities minister Kemi Badenoch because she’s spoken up about women’s rights against trans-indentifying males, Deadline reported.

“Until we wake up and Kemi Badenoch doesn’t exist anymore – I don’t wish ill of her, I just wish her to shut up – whilst we do live in this world, I am honored to receive this [award],” Tennant said.

Badenoch who has advocated for banning trans-identifying males from entering women’s spaces and female sports — hit back and replied on X that she would not remain quiet, the outlet noted.

I will not shut up. I will not be silenced by men who prioritise applause from Stonewall over the safety of women and girls.

A rich, lefty, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology he can’t see the optics of attacking the only black woman in government by calling publicly… https://t.co/caIQOFYnrU

“I will not shut up. I will not be silenced by men who prioritize applause from Stonewall over the safety of women and girls,” the British politician wrote.

“A rich, lefty, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology he can’t see the optics of attacking the only black woman in government by calling publicly for my existence to end,” she added.

Famed “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling saw Tennant’s comments and responded to one post about how it was the rare situation where a privileged white man was able to tell a black woman to “shut up.”

She wrote sarcastically that the “the utterances of the Gender Taliban receive special dispensation, for they are a holy caste.”

In a second post, she reposted comments from journalist Hadley Freeman, who wrote, “In the name of kindness and supporting the vulnerable, white man says he hopes black woman soon no longer exists,” Deadline noted.

Rowling — who has faced numerous attacks similar to one’s from Tennant’s and leftist activists for her support of biological women — is very outspoken on social media and doesn’t back down when threatened by trans activists.

She previously went viral after she posted a message on X to those pushing people to use the word “cis,” a term used to describe people whose identity and gender correspond with their biological sex, after X boss Elon Musk labeled it “a slur.”

“‘Cis’ is ideological language, signifying belief in the unfalsifiable concept of gender identity,” Rowling wrote at the time.

“You have a perfect right to believe in unprovable essences that may or may not match the sexed body, but the rest of us have a right to disagree, and to refuse to adopt your jargon,” she added. Her post went viral with more than 20 million views and counting at the time of this publication.

The famous author previously spoke out against the former Scottish female First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, who in 2022 supported that government’s Gender Recognition Reform Bill.
