Aerial footage released by the IDF appeared to show approximately 100 bombs raining down in a wave of explosions that reduced the facility to rubble. Israeli military statements indicated that the bunker had been built to enable the regime’s leadership to conduct wartime operations from deep underground, a symbol of the theocracy’s reliance on fortified secrecy. Analysts noted that destroying the site further cripples Tehran’s ability to coordinate military actions.
