The official White House website got a Donald Trump-style makeover immediately after he was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
Visitors to whitehouse.gov were treated to a patriotic video montage including footage of the president at various events. The tagline on the main page says in bold white letters, “America is Back.”
“Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America,” the main page says under an image of President Trump.
The administration section now says “After a landslide election victory in 2024, President Donald J. Trump is returning to the White House to build upon his previous successes and use his mandate to reject the extremist policies of the radical left while providing tangible quality of life improvements for the American people.”
The caption beside JD Vance’s name says, “In 2024, President Donald J. Trump extended JD the incredible honor of asking him to serve as the Vice-Presidential Nominee for the Republican Party. JD looks forward to serving with President Trump over the next four years as they work diligently to Make America Great Again.”
There are also biographies on the site for First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance, plus bios for Trump’s prospective cabinet members.

Under the “Priorities” section, there are four main items listed, including: “Make America safe again,” “Make America affordable and energy dominant again,” “Drain the swamp,” and “Bring back American values.”
During his inauguration speech earlier today, President Trump also promised to usher in “the golden age” of America.
“From this day forward our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world,” Trump said in part. “We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer.
