Mary Margaret Olohan will serve as The Daily Wire’s White House Correspondent, Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing announced live from Washington, D.C., today.
Olohan, currently a senior reporter at The Daily Wire, will have access to the White House briefing room and grounds on day one of Trump’s second term in office.
“Mary Margaret has been a fearless voice in the culture war, and a powerhouse in breaking stories that matter,” Boreing said. “We’re proud to have her covering the White House, reaffirming The Daily Wire’s continued dedication to giving its audience the news they deserve with bold reporting straight from the center of power in Washington.”
“It’s an honor to be The Daily Wire’s new White House correspondent,” Olohan said Monday during The Daily Wire’s live Inauguration Day coverage. “I’m very excited to bring the news to our viewers.”

Olohan’s appointment comes at a time when “new media” has become more valuable than ever. The Daily Wire is on the forefront of that revolution, bolstered by its monthly network reach of 220 million, chart-topping podcasts, election night coverage that racked up 10 million views, and a record of leading the news cycle with exclusive investigative reporting on hot-button issues, like the recent FEMA scandal that was uncovered in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Trump joined The Ben Shapiro Show in October of last year. Now, ahead of Trump’s return to the highest office in the land, his team and inner circle have even hinted at reworking the briefing room seating arrangement to make way for new media and podcasters to potentially replace some of the standard legacy media positions, as Donald Trump Jr. revealed to Michael Knowles on “Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.”.
Olohan spoke about The Daily Wire’s role in the new media revolution on Monday.
“After the last four years, I think it’s more clear than ever that new media is so important,” she said. “We belong in the briefing room. We need to be bringing the American public these stories, and sharing with them the truth that legacy media has no intention of ever sharing with them.”
The author of “Detrans: True Stories of Escaping The Gender Ideology Cult,” Olohan’s notable coverage includes breaking Riley Gaines’s story of losing a trophy to trans-identified swimmer Lia Thomas, aggressively covering the Biden Justice Department’s prosecution of pro-life Americans like Mark Houck, and exposing former DOJ official Kristen Clarke for lying to the United States Senate.
She has also interviewed many lawmakers and notable figures including Governor Ron DeSantis, Speaker Mike Johnson, Mike Pence, Donald Trump Jr., Kayleigh McEnany, and Dan Bongino. Formerly, she wrote for The Daily Signal and The Daily Caller News Foundation.
