RE:  Upcoming Health Care Summit Meeting

Dear Sir:

We the people believe President Obama is setting the stage for a 'dog & pony show' in regards to this upcoming bipartisan health care meeting.  As such, we urge you to protect our rights and uphold the Constitution on our behalf.

As you are aware, the grassroots of this country are emblazoned, and in our fervor we stand united and committed to see to it that most incumbents; of either the left or right; never hold office again.  We all seem to be in agreement that there are about 5 people we would support for re-election, and you happen to be on that short-list.  That tenuous support could be withdrawn in a heartbeat depending on how this meeting is handled.  In speaking with various grassroot leaders, our expectations are summarized herein.

Transparency versus Truth

It seems our Conservative leaders lack any voice when it comes to making a stance on behalf of Truth. Obama is going to use the televised event to outline some Republican ideas that he may have incorporated into the present health care legislation and thereby publically try to shame you for not supporting this bill.  The truth of the matter is that irrespective of what components may have been incorporated, the fact remains that they are incorporated into a proposal that unconstitutionally transfers our entire health care system to reside within the providence of Federal government control.  We abject wholeheartedly to any government intervention that impedes our personal choices.

This point you must drive home!  Further, use the televised event to point out how tax burdens will destroy the advancement of health science in this country.  (i.e., new taxes on medical devices, etc).  The Obama Administration tries fervently to discount the notion of rationed health care.  This is a natural outcome of this Bill, and provisions for such rationing are contained within the legislative language of the Bill under the guises of unspecified emergencies.  Would lack of money constitute such an emergency?  Of course it would!  This is why every state that has a government-run health care system is failing, rationing services, and increasing state taxes to continue to try and fund their aberration.  Transparency is meaningless unless some truth be spoken.

Nomenclature

It is absolutely appalling that the Republicans have adopted the same language as the Progressives by calling this 'health care reform'.  We do not need health care reform, we have the finest health care in the world!  This entire discussion originated as a way to help contain costs.  As such, this should be about insurance system reform and offering clearer paths for those few individuals that have fallen between the cracks of the system to become integrated into it.  Stop using the language of the progressives, for this only obfuscates the issues.

The Party of Opposition

Obama is going to try to paint you out as the party of opposition in the manner outlined above.  We encourage you to have the strength to cast yourself in the light of being the Party of Preservation.  You are preserving our individual freedom and only opposing that which is constitutionally illegal and seeks to erode further the principles of this country.  That this so-called health care reform has even made it this far demonstrates what can only be described as criminal behavior of our leaders. The Constitution does not confer any right for the government to impose this legislation upon the American people. If a civilian citizen were to break some civil or federal law, we would be pursued relentlessly and prosecuted with vengeance .  The Constitution is the law of the land.  It is set of laws by which a politician is constrained by, and whom has sworn an oath to uphold and defend. Yet the Constitution has been made mockery of as it is used merely as a political tool; to uphold or ignore as any particular agenda may require.  That politicians are not held to the same standards of legal accountability that the public is, is an egregious perversion of justice.  We expect governance as intended.  For each new power that the Federal government adorns itself with, it comes at the expense of an individuals' personal freedom.  Our freedom is what should be tantamount in the minds of our politicians.  Demonstrate to the world that you are the Party of Preservation.

EXCELLENT, SAVANT ! I believe Boehner knows the 'summit' to be another Obama PR 'dog & pony show', as you writ. The Obama PR stunt is to trap the GOP into being in agreement with their "Health Care Reform Act" oor the party of "NO"!

**......and the beat goes ON **

Paul Ryan to Obama: You realize your bill is a fiscal disaster, right?
Via the Standard, this was the most buzzed-about moment among righties on Twitter this afternoon, and with good reason. Now that you’ve laughed at the freak-show stuff, settle in for six minutes of Ryan wonking out about what’s destined to happen to the “cost curve” and our annual deficits if The One’s leviathan bill passes. This has always been a core problem of Obama’s health-care pitch: He knows that the moral argument for the bill — sure, it’ll cost us dearly but it’s worth it to insure the uninsured — is a political loser so he resorts to preposterous assertions about how our giant new federal entitlement will actually save us money in the long run. It’s win-win, you see. (Kaus dubbed this nonsense “Orszagism” after The One’s budget chief.) I think I’ve said before that it reminds me of the left’s arguments about enhanced interrogation. They won’t acknowledge that intel could be lost if detainees aren’t pressured because the public will blanch at that trade-off. So voila: Simply insist that enhanced interrogation never, ever, ever works and the circle is squared. Win-win again. There are no trade-offs in Candyland.

So unpersuasive is his argument that a clear majority of 53 percent says America can’t afford to take these vital “cost-saving” measures right now. (The same poll puts Obama’s health-care approval rating at 35/55.) Viva Orszagism.

(Katfish NOTE:) The most effective 6 minutes I've observed in a while.
